Kim Hale has served as Head of Marketing and Social Media at the Debbie Allen Dance
Academy in Los Angeles since 2013. This led her to create Your Big Beautiful Dance
Brand, a consulting business dedicated to educating and assisting Dance Studio
Owners and Dance Brands on everything from marketing to social media. Her list of
Social Media clients have included Debbie Allen, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy ,
Chloe Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies , the Chita Rivera Awards , Breaking Bounds Summer
Dance Intensive, to name a few. Kim is a Contributing Blogger for Discount Dance and
a highly sought after Presenter on the topic of Social Media for Dance Studios for
events such as Dance Teacher Summit, Calgary Dance Teachers Expo, Rhee Gold’s

Kim is also a highly respected teacher of jazz and theater dance on both coasts known
for her ability to train technically strong, passionate and “working” professionals. Kim
spent five years as Assistant Professor of Dance in the BFA Musical Theater program at
Syracuse University where she taught all levels of jazz, theater dance and ballet. She
has also served on the dance faculty a t AMDA-LA , Los Angeles County High School for
the Arts , Debbie Allen Dance Academy and as a guest teacher at The Edge in Los
Angeles and Steps on Broadway in New York City. Kim is currently on the Faculty of
Revel Dance Convention scouting dancers for The Movement Talent Agency in Los
Angeles where she is an Agent in the Dance Education and Choreography
This Summer, Kim assisted Director/Choreographer Debbie Allen on and appeared in
Netflix ’s “Christmas on the Square” starring Dolly Parton which will be released later this
year. She also assisted Ms. Allen on “Diana Ross at the Hollywood Bowl 2018” and
performed in the Motown legend’s 75th Birthday Concert at the Hollywood Palladium.
Other recent credits include multiple episodes of “The Late Late Show with James
Corden” choreographed by Chloe Arnold. Kim served as Director and Choreographer of
the 2nd Annual ANOC Awards Dinner and Gala which aired on NBC Sports Network .
This Summer and was part of the Creative Team of the Special Olympics Opening
Ceremonies which aired on ESPN .
Kim was born in Torrance, CA and received her Bachelor’s of Science from Wellesley
College and Master’s Degree from Syracuse University .
